Dream Yacht Charter, a premier global yacht charter company, is looking for a HR Coordinator to join our team in Mauritius. If you’re passionate about HR management and want to work in a collaborative environment, this opportunity is for you. 

As “Regional HR Coordinator/ Manager” you will oversee HR matters of the Dream Yacht Mauritius office and other Group HR functions.  The successful candidate will possess expertise in payroll management, financial controlling, and attendance tracking, ensuring seamless HR operations for our international team.

You will work in the Mauritius Office, reporting functionally to the Local Accounting Director and report hierarchically to the Group HR Manager.

Main activities: 

As "Regional HR Coordinator/ Manager", your main tasks are as follows:

  • Administration of the payroll & HR system and benefits of the employees
  • Handle recruitment, onboarding and retention of best talent
  • Identify and administer the talent development and training need 
  • Administer the Performance Management System, reward system and employee relation
  • Review and advise on current HR policies, procedure and benefits to ensure that the company is compliant with latest laws and best practices
  • Participate in cross functional projects related directly or indirectly to the HRM
  • Challenge and reinforce the current organizational culture

HR Information System activities:

  • Data Handling: Efficiently import, process, and reconcile payroll data through our payroll and HR software to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
  • Controlling: Manage payroll costs, budget adherence, and financial reporting. Provide insights and analysis to support strategic financial planning and decision-making.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with finance and HR teams to align payroll and attendance with overall financial controls and HR strategies.

PREREQUISITES

  • Diploma in Health and Safety and or HR 
  • Certificate: Human resources management
  •  3 years experience in similar position
  • Languages spoken: English and French

  • Support/ advise management on changes in legislation and its implication on the workplace
  • Administer performance management system and recommend management on possible improvement

  • Organise and plan work independently, Manage priorities and adapt to a changing environment
  • Proficiency in office tools (Odoo V17 HR apps and other payroll or HR software)
  • HR System monitoring and administration (Odoo) 
  • Draft HR process and procedures
  • Draft employment contract and other
