IT Helpdesk Technician

Floreal, Mauritius

Dream Yacht Worldwide, the world’s largest charter company, is seeking a skilled IT Helpdesk Technician to join our Mauritius office. 


Role Overview:


As an IT Helpdesk Technician, you will be the cornerstone of our IT support, ensuring seamless technology operations across our global teams. You will troubleshoot and resolve endpoint issues, manage user accounts, and support our network and server infrastructure all from our vibrant Mauritius office.


Responsibilities:


Provide comprehensive helpdesk support including ticket creation, routing, and resolution for global users a tourism company

  • Install, repair, and maintain workstations, printers, and other hardware.
  • Administer VPNs, Active Directory, and perform server and network maintenance.
  • Monitor systems and servers, perform backups, and deploy patches.
  • Offer technical support for desktop and network operating systems, applications, and printers.
  • Handle incoming calls and system alerts, providing support in person, over the phone, or via remote connection.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and basic account management tasks.

Responsibilities

Must Have

  • Two years of experience in customer/user service.
  • Background in Microsoft Windows OS, and troubleshooting PC and printer issues.
  • Proficient in network environments, including switches and cabling.
  • French speaking
  • Valid work permit for Mauritius
